Tamusi Qumalu Tukula (b. 1945) - Artist Biography

Also known as Thomassie Tookalook, the artist like many from Povungnituk, carved naturalistic subjects with great skill. Tukala was particularly adept at carving birds, animals and other scenes of community life.
